We understand that sometimes during a period of recovery it takes a little time to return to the activities of daily living you enjoyed before you were admitted to the hospital. Activities we often take for granted such as making meals, bathing, and getting in and out of bed don't always come easily following a hospital stay. 

The Convalescent Care Program has been specially developed to improve the health and quality of life for adults following a stay in hospital. Our Convalescent Care Program assists with returning to independent living through the support of Glen Hill Strathaven's specialized team of health care professionals.

Based on individualized goals, the health care team will work to strengthen activities of daily living that build confidence, independence and endurance, all with the goal of a more independent lifestyle at home.
