Providence Place opened its doors in 1988 and consists of:

 

• 10 floors with a total of 125 residential units

  • 50 units are rented at market value*

  • remaining units are designated rent geared to income (RGI)**

• Each floor has up to 13 units

• 76 one-bedroom units; 10 of which are designed specifically for physically challenged seniors and are approximately 576 square feet

• 49 two-bedroom units which are approximately 787-819 square feet

 

*Market Value Units: interested applicants must complete a Membership Application and Residency Application for review and approval.

 

**Rent-Geared to Income Units: interested and eligible applicants must apply through Durham Region Social Housing.
